I always drive down to the waterfront whenever I’m in Southport. On this particular day, it was picture, postcard perfect. I grabbed the video camera to share some video with you.

Southport, NC is a beautiful place and famous for it’s historic district as well as the NC Fourth of July festival.

Southport is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is ranked by Rand McNally and Kiplinger as one of the most desirable places in the United States to retire. Southport is also a great place for a fun daytrip. History buffs will especially appreciate a visit to Southport for it’s beautiful old homes and historic cemeteries.
